I am so EXCITED to be a guest blog hopper with ScrapbookSteals.com today! Just imagine my excitement when I was contacted by the Mojo Mama herself, Kristy Lee, to be a participant. My first response was “Yahoo!” and my second was - “Jeepers, what am I going to create?” I have to admit I was even more excited when I received my package of goodies and saw what line I was lucky enough to be working with - I think that I literally carried the materials around with me for days. Literally!
I’m a huge My Mind’s Eye fan like so many others of you out there. And their “Journal Card Kit” did not let me down. As I began to create with the cards, I just couldn’t stop. So many options! Anyway - I really do hope that you find some inspiration today, “steal” the MME Journal Card Kit for yourself, and create dozens of fun projects.
I am so torn between layouts and cards, I really cannot decide which I enjoy creating more, so I had to create both for the hop.
The creativity was just a-flowing and I had a strong desire to try my hand at making a few book marks. We are a family of readers and I just love seeing my kids walking around with books in their hands - book marks it is!

Wanted to show you a close up of the edges on this one - I used a craft knife to "distress" the edges. Kinda cool, huh?
There you have it - a few projects to inspire you to use MME's Journal Card Kit. Wanna win? Just become a follower and leave a comment by Sunday, May 13th at 11:59PM MST. I will then pick a random winner and you will win the cards and bookmarks featured here as well as a few other scrappy happiness from my “stash”. ScrapbookSteals.com will also pick a random winner from one of the eight blog postings to receive a $20.00 gift certificate to ScrapbookSteals.com.
I sure do hope that you find a great deal of inspiration from the rest of my dear gal pals during the hop. Here’s the order just in case you landed here first:

I am REALLY inspired by your use of the journal spots for making Cards! I can't believe I hadn't thought of that...I only saw them as being used on LO's. Thanks! BTW, I subscribed, too!
Bookmarks are the perfect use for the tags, but I must say that I do like your Royal Proclamation card with the charms and ribbon. Good job.

Adorable! I'll be scrap lifting bits and pieces of your super cute projects- thanks for the inspiration! I'm also a new follower. (and I couldn't help but read a bit of your profile- major props to you for being a middle school special needs teacher for so long! I worked as a TA in a middle school special needs class for a while, and it takes someone pretty awesome to do your job. Thanks!)

Deborah, you've outdone yourself. You came up with so many wonderful ideas for the use of each of these tags. I've been stuck for what to do, but no longer. You and the other ladies who participated in this blog have made my day. I can't wait for the scrapbook store to open so I can pick some tags up and use them as you did. Thanks for participating.
Love those book marks!
Your creative mojo was in high gear. Well done!
I am your newest follower.

Great projects!
Great job Deb! Love the layout, great cards, and my fave is the bookmark idea! And thanks for the chance to win some goodies!
Love your layout, but your cards blow me away! I can't yet do layouts without sketches and yet, I can't for the life of me create cards that come out well WITH a sketch (and even the ones without them I'm less than impressed with usually)...this would be a great way to simplify the process as I figure out how to smash so much stuff into such a small space! Thanks for the idea!
Wonderful projects Deb!! Love them all!!!!!
Fun uses for the cards! Love that "Royal Proclamation" one - so cute.
